WHAT IS "SRC"?

The Social Responsibility Committee at Macassa is made up of a group of dedicated volunteers who organize fun social events for employees and their families, while occasionally hosting events that also welcome members of the local community. Our committee is made up of employees from a variety of departments at Macassa and Upper Beaver, bringing diverse perspectives and helping us create events and initiatives that resonate with our workforce.

MEETINGS

Meetings are conducted during regular work hours. The full committee meets once a month during lunch, in the #3 Shaft Boardroom. Our sub-committee (event) meetings are usually held via Teams. All employees are welcome to participate on the committee, and an Agnico Eagle email account is not required to join the committee or attend meetings.

COMMITTEE MEMBER ATTENDANCE

We appreciate the value of our colleagues' personal and professional time and their dedication to AEM. Joining the SRC committee requires a minimum commitment of the following:

Attendance of at least 6 (six) monthly meetings per year
Participation in at least 1 (one) sub-committee event per year
Volunteer for at least 2 (two) events or prize/gift distributions

VOLUNTEERS

We're always looking for volunteers to help out on the day of a planned event. We encourage employees to contact us for volunteer work including; loading and unloading a trailer with tables, chairs, swag, prizes, decorations, coolers, drinks, etc., registration helpers, swag helpers, and food servers. You don't have to be a part of the committee to volunteer, and we welcome any and all helping hands! MacassaSRC@agnicoeagle.com
