About Agnico Eagle Ontario's Social Responsibility Committee

Who We Are

AEM Macassa Social Responsibility Committee’s purpose is to initiate, organize and roll-out employee events, co-ordinate, and market KLG involvement in the community, and review and approve donation requests received from local organizations. The committee is comprised of dedicated volunteers from a variety of disciplines within the company which allows us to ensure that all work areas have representation to ensure that the committee is acting on behalf of the entire workforce.

With the new challenges facing us in 2020 and 2021, the committee has had to get creative and think outside the box for events, donations and community involvement projects; replacing some of our more traditional events with virtual ones and earmarking significant funding towards COVID-19 relief in our area!
